  • Try to find something that they cherished when they were younger. A musician, board game, meal they loved to cook, etc. Reminding them of things they loved will help to bring about feelings of comfort and happiness.

  • Don’t be frustrated if it takes you awhile to figure out which memories connect with them—with patience you will eventually find some things.
