  • Most people with dementia are not naturally combative or violet, but the frustration of this disease can cause problems and outbursts.

  • For anger and combativeness, look for triggers (time of day, too much stimulation).

  • Sometimes, taking a break and coming back later helps. Be sure to take care of yourself.
