  • If you’re worried about your loved one turning the stove on, turn the circuit breaker to the stove and oven off. This way, you’ll know when the stove or oven are on.

  • Reduce throw rugs, loose wires and clutter in the house.

  • Make sure the home has plenty of space and deadbolt locks, and keep potentially dangerous items out of reach.
